National Museum of Science & Industry Group

TOR Systems Ltd, the UK’s premier provider of Booking, Ticketing and Admissions Solutions, announced that it had been chosen to supply its “Maxim and MaximWeb” Visitor Engagement Solutions to the National Museum of Science and Industry Group (NMSI Group) early in 2009.

This extensive project was to expand TOR Maxim Solutions at the London Science Museum and provide new installations at The National Railway Museum, York and National Media Museum, Bradford.

Delivery was to be in three phases and Daniel Jordan, Managing Director of the Stoke on Trent based company, has announced; “The initial phase of the NMSI project has now been successfully completed. A full database cleanse and installation of the latest Maxim Software release has been performed at NMSI Group HQ in London and we are delighted with the results.” “NMSI Group took this opportunity to upgrade both the Hardware and Software at the London Science Museum and the latest touchscreen technology supported by MaximTouch software is now fully functional.”“TOR Systems is presently busy developing Maxim to meet the NMSI Group needs overall and is looking forward to similarly successful installations at the National Railway Museum, York in early 2010 and moving on to National Media Museum, Bradford later in the year.”

Mr Jordan went on to add; “The entire team at TOR is grateful for the support and tenacity of those at NMSI Group who have driven this project forward throughout and assisted TOR in ensuring successful completion of phase 1.”  Readers interested in the Maxim and MaximWeb Solutions should visit TOR Systems website at www.torsystems.co.uk for further information, or contact the company’s offices, on 01782 644755, to discuss the potential for these exciting opportunities.  Copyright TOR Systems Ltd 2010
